Shiva Sreenath Andrali, PhD.

Dr. Andrali oversees medical affairs to develop medical strategy including input on clinical affairs and scientific strategy. Actively involved in organizational meetings and participates in the global medical outreach strategy and work closely with global key opinion leaders (KOLs). Helps develop and propose Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS) in collaboration with external stakeholders.

Background
Dr. Andrali is a PhD by training in cancer biology. After his postdoctoral studies Dr. Andrali joined as Research Assistant Professor at Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope. He worked extensively on gene regulation and drug discovery projects especially in therapeutic areas including diabetes and cancer.

Later he joined a biotech company North American Biomedical Research Center as director of scientific affairs where he coordinated, designed and led scientific projects and managed three research centers at different geographical sites in the field of drug discovery and development. His efforts in drug discovery and development have led to generation of scientific publications and patents. He was heavily involved in planning, execution and development of scientific content for advisory boards. Dr. Andrali taught molecular biology and biochemistry to medical students.

Dr. Andrali designed scientific projects by hypothesis generation and engaged scientists to generate scientific data. He has experience in grant writing to various funding bodies such as Life Sciences foundation and American Diabetes Association and NIH funding bodies such as NIDDK and NCI.
