Katherine Kim, MD
Dr. Kim graduated from the University of Toronto in 2009, where she received B.Sc. Honors for her double major in Human Biology and Biology. She went on to complete her M.D. at Jagiellonian University Medical School, where she graduated in 2013. Dr. Kim was involved in oncologic research during medical school for 2.5 years, during which she completed her poster presentation, and was involved in gynecologic oncologic research for another 2 years at UCLA. She worked as Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)/Visiting Researcher for the UCLA Women’s Health Clinical Research Unit and coordinated multiple NCI clinical trials and did an independent research project with the gynecological oncology team and had her poster presentation done at ACOG. Now, she is excited to have joined the Sarcoma Oncology Center where she is currently working as Associate Director of Research and hopes to help out patients who seek clinical trials for their cancer care.
